The 2012 Raft Race!

The raft race will be back in 2012 in July with a similar format to 2011. There will be a number of qualifying races around the lake and winners of each heat will get through to the grand final!

Approximate Timings:
10:00 Rafts Arrive
11:30 Register Edible Boats
12:00 Music Starts
12:30 Edible Boat Regatta
13:00 First Raft Race
15:30 Raft Race Final
16:00 Music - headline act

As well as prizes for the winning rafts, there are prizes for the “Best Dressed Raft”, “Best Designed Raft” and “Most Sponsorship Raised”, so if you make that extra effort you’ll be in with a good chance to win a prize.

The raft race takes place at the Portishead Lake Grounds....
