How to enter....

The edible boat regatta takes place on the smaller lake at the Lake Grounds, before the main Raft Races start on 8th July. Registration starts at 11:30.

The only rule is that the bite sized boat must be made entirely from edible materials, including any bits that hold it together.

There will be prizes for the best designed boat and the one that floats best and longest...

In 2011 about 70 boats entered and it was great fun for all who entered and spectated. Have a look at the photos for ideas of how to build you boat. Last year's most novel entry was the boat made out of ice!!

Just come along to register on the day from 11:30. The registration desk will be between the Lakeside Cafe and the boat house.

The registration fee of £1.50 helps to cover the cost of the medal that everyone will get for entering.
