It's all about supporting charities...
The raft race is great fun and the whole community looks forward to it...
...but it is also a great way of raising funds for the Portishead Lifeboat and various other local charities and community groups....
Call for charities...
Whilst the Lifeboat is a major beneficiary of the raft race funds (as it has traditionally been a Lifeboat event), we are now also supporting other local charities with funds raised by the Raft Race.
